So this afternoon my dad is telling me how when he was about 17 years old, he and 2 of his buddies were just driving down the main street in Cumberland, BC about midnight or 1 am. He said the middle of the road had several feet of snow piled up. They were just drinking beer and driving around, no one cared and no one was even around. As much as we are all against that sort of thing nowadays (and I myself would have been mortified to hear of my kids doing anything like that), it was somehow ok then.

Canada’s Korean War Vets Get Annual day of Recognition
The Canadian government has honoured the Canadian Korean War Vets with their own day. This is a cool thing.
Good article on that here.
And my picture did get in the Record for the boat fire at Comox Lake. sweet.
I’m going to be shooting some videos coming up shortly as we do our landscaping and lay the sod, so come back and see.
Here’s a little video of our doggies and granddog fetching in the back yard.
